I'm looking for the best string for my buck. I care more about how much control and playability the string can provide than how durable the string is. Right now I'm using Tecnibre S.Gut, any good recommendations?

  1. My favourite budget string of all time was the Babalot Fineplay. It played better then Wilson's syn guts but wasn't as durable.

  2. try the wilson sensation 16, best string out there for only 17 or 18 bucks. dont use the 17, cant hit a heavy enough ball.  16 is definitely your best shot

  3. Go with a hybrid, with Wilson Natural Gut in the mains, and your Tecnibre S.Gut in the crosses.

  4. Prince synthetic gut is probably the best string if you're on a price limit. It costs less than 4 dollars and plays great if used in a hybrid combination.

  5. what is a buck? if it is a tennis racquet...

i use prince's topspin with duraflex...i love it.

it really bites the ball and gives you good spin.

i have a lot of power, but not so much control. i use this string strung at 62 pounds, and it really works well for me.

i totally recommend you trying it.
