Being saved and my children are the ultimately best thing that has ever happened to me. The worst is having my husband die.

  1. Assigning labels to happenings in our lives is not good.

When one assigns labels it's all relative.

You shouldn't. Life is too short. Take your husband's death. I call it his reward. Returning "home" to Our Father. Why should that be "worst". He was living the worst here on earth in sin, spiritual poverty and hardship. He is now free of sin, spiritually fulfilled and no pain!

So I say we (you, your children and me) are really the worst off. We still have pain, sin, spiritual poverty and hardships. It's all relative my dear Watson, elementary.

  2. Best thing--- My second wife

    Worst thing--- My first wife

  3. There are many bad things that have happened to me however the end result is always good so I refuse to dwell on it.

The best thing that has happened? The day that I came to realize that Jesus is my refuge during EVERY storm.

The worst thing that has happened? The day I refused to take shelter when I needed God the most. That day has been over for a little over four years now and it taught me that I will NEVER be alone in this world unless I choose to be.

With a negative there ALWAYS comes a positive. Trials force us to let down our guard, to be weak and it is in our weakness that we can truly find who we are, what we want to be and what direction on the cross road we should take......

  4. im sorry about your husband...

best thing: my son. i have never known love like this!

worst: being held up at knifepoint...

no one close to me has really died.

  6. The very best realization that ever happen to me was being able to attend medical university in Tokyo, Japan at the age of 16 years old.

I would say the very worse was the death of my mother who was a cancer specialist, and lost her life to pancreatic cancer at the young age of 36.  She was my best friend and mentor.

My sincere condolences to you over the lost of your husband.  (Something that one will never really have "closure"), one has to just be strong and move on in life.  (Most of my peers believe that you must have closure to move on, I don't agree with them).
