I have the following in my medicine cabinet: aspirin, Alleve, Tylenol, Klonapin, and ibuprofen.

It's not that bad, but it is bugging me.

  1. Three things to mention:

Make certain the headache is not from high blood pressure.

Caffeine withdrawal can cause intense headaches, some headache products include caffeine, which if you take often sets you up for more headaches.

Taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) products for more than 10 days at maximal dosage or with alcohol with any dosage can cause liver damage.

Outside of this I would take ibuprofen, with food, if I did not have stomach or intestinal problems for a headache.

  3. Take An Aspirin. Many may suggest Tylenol but Aspirin is the best when it comes to getting rid of those " once in a blue moon " headaches.

  4. Clonazepam (Klonopin) is not for headaches but it will probably knock you out. Try 400-600mgs of Ibuprofen and you should be fine. I get migraines and have found that 600mgs work better than Vicodin (primarily because of the side effects that are associated with the narcotic). But if you don't take it often, try 400 and take another 200mgs after two hours if you don't feel any or enough relief.

  5. sometimes if you have a headache, you are dehydrated or need sleep. i wouldnt take too much of the medicine you mentioned because it is difficult for your liver to cleanse itself when medicine is taken often. Also, it could be stress, and i would take deep breaths and do some yoga to relieve it. if you need to take medicine though, i would recommend aspirin.

  6. okay i get migraine a lot so here it is i don't take pain killers i drink something caffinated if you usually drink caffinated beverages try a foot message or lower back sometimes the pressure on the skin between the pointer finger and thumb will work some of mine are also do to low iron so I now take three multi-vitamins (as told to by my doctor) to help correct that. Hope I helped I hate them too
