  1. ice or a cool rag.  never ever vaseline or anything oil based

  2. Cold water to absorb the heat from the burn. If it's really bad, you need to go to the hospital.

  3. Vasoline!!! Serisouly.

  4. neosporin

  5. ok first off. NEVER USE ICE!! it makes it feel better but that is about the WORST thing you can do. i have burnt myself so many times and it kills like crazy and ice takes away the pain but dont use it. it makes the burn last longer and hurt way worse than it needs to. so run it under some cool water thats about the best thing you can do. but also for some real techniques go to google and type in "iron burns" that should help you alot. i hope you get better soon! good luck!

  6. Erikea, baking soda.  Good luck!!!

  7. Put your hand in cold water for a while till it nums up ,

  8. forget what everyone said unless they say run it under cool water for at least 30 mins.. that is the only first aid for burns..nothing else ok. trust me Im a doctor and ive done research on it. only get urgent help if the burn is life threatnening other wise run it under cool water or in the shower id its a big region for at least 30 mins. then assess the burn take some pain releif and see your doctor when you can.

  9. badly burnt, go to the hospital

    Ozonal ointment (Canada)

at home we use a home remedy to stop stinging on mild burns and that is to pour vinegar over the burnt area, but that is suppose to be done right after the person is burnt

if your arm is pretty badly burnt you prob should see a dr.

  13. get sylvadin (i dont know if thats spelled right)  from the doctor it works great! its like a white cream

  14. This may sound weird, but pickle juice will take the sting out.

  15. immerse the burn in cool running water for at least 30 minutes to help relieve the pain. If you can't cool the burn immediately, this procedure will still help to some degree up to 2 hours after the injury has occurred.

  16. Dip it in ice quickly if gets worse go to the ER

  17. If you have medical coverage your medical card will have an 800 number on it for an advice line.  Call right away and describe the burn to them.  An advice nurse will tell you what to do.  And if its REALLY that bad then you need to go to the ER.
