what is cellulites? how come they get that? I think those might be some good answers, but how do you know if they are having a serious reaction? If it was near the throat then it would be more serious I would think, thanks for the answers so far

  1. bendadryl and go to the emergency room ASAP

  2. Cellulitis is an infection of the deep subcutaneous tissue of the skin.

If you were stung near the throat or anywhere else it would be terribly uncomfortable, red, hot, itchy & painful. Treat it with cold packs.

If you were allergic to the sting, your throat may constrict and block off... you go into anaphylatic shock!, you need medical treatment pronto.

  3. well i was always told to mix a little baking soda and water together and put on the sting spot. For me i am allergic everytime i get a bee sting i have to go see the doc so i can get antibiotics because it turns into cellulites. so its always good to have them checked out.

  4. cellulite has nothing to do with wasp stings.  if you have a serious allergic to the latter, you will know it - it gets swollen, red and hot.  it hurts and itches like crazy.   I don't think it matters where it is - you're either allergic or not regardless of where you were stung.  Cellulite is the grotesque "cottage cheese"-textured flesh that women get on their thighs and bottom when they get middle-aged and their skin loses collagen and elasticity.
