  1. Well it depends on why you got fired.  You need to tell your new employer that yo got fired, and they are going to ask why.  If YOUR side of the story makes sense and isn't just a bunch of lame excuses, you are not doomed.

It depends on why you got fired.  Sometimes something like "it just wasn't a good fit" can get you through the question.  If you were fired for something like theft, assault or sexual harassment, you are probably going to have a very hard time finding a new job.  If it was more a personality conflict, or not doing the work to their satisfaction, it might not be a big deal.

  4. If it was a really good job then attempt to resign first. They should allow you to do this since they do not want to pay insurance. As for a new job unless you are an investment banker or some other niche industry where the different company heads may no each other tell them you left. Never say you did get along with your boss! Just say you wanted a more challenging career. They can only ask your old job if you worked there. not why you left or if you where fired (at least in CA and NY this is true)
