  2. I absolutely love Paris and would love to give you a list of things to do and see there, but I can see that others have listed many of the same things I would have.  I do have one suggestion for you, though, if this will be your first time in Paris:  Take a bus tour!  These are open double-decker buses that travel throughout the city all day long, every day, and you can get on and off as many times as you'd like during the length of your ticket (usually 1 or 2 days).  Included are earphones that have continual commentary in 8 languages so you can hear about what you're seeing.  They go past (and stop at) all of the big attractions and sights, so you can get off, look around, and get on a later bus that will continue your tour.  It is a WONDERFUL way to see the city the first time - get a good feel for where everything is (the Metro/subway doesn't give that feel as it is underground and you don't get to see where you are until you get there), and it is a great way to get around the city.

There are also several tours you can take, depending on which part of the city you'd like to see:

PARIS GRAND TOUR:  It stops at : "Madeleine", "Opéra", "Louvre Museum",

"Notre-Dame", "Saint-Germain-des-Prés", "Orsay Museum", "Concorde", "Champs-Elysées", "Arc de Triomphe", "Trocadéro", "Eiffel Tower "and "Invalides".

BASTILLE - BERCY:  It stops at : "Notre-Dame", "Saint-Paul", "Bastille", "Gare de Lyon", "Gare d'Austerlitz" and "Parc de Bercy".

MONMARTE - GRANDS BOULEVARDS:  It stops at : "Funiculaire de Montmartre", "Gare du Nord", "Gare de l'Est" and "Grands Boulevards".

MONTPARNASSE - SAINT-GERMAIN:  It stops at : "Jardin du Luxembourg", "Observatoire", "Catacombes", "Invalides" and "Saint-Germain-des-Prés".

    The prices are (in Euros):

    1 day Adult:  26

2 day Adult:  29 (consecutive days)

    2 day Child:  13 (ages 4-11)

If you have a Paris Visite pass, you can use a discount voucher that would make the 1-day Adult ticket price only 22.

  3. The best thing to do is a get a pass on the Bateau Mouche which are the boats that go around the Seine.  You can then get off at different stops and visit the following:

    Notre Dame

Sainte Chapelle (great stained glass - near Notre Dame)

    Louvre & the surrounding gardens

    Musee D'Orsay (great art museum)

    Montemartre (artist area)

    Eiffel Tower -

    Champs Elysee -

    Arc de Triomphe -

    Quarter - Boulevard Saint Germain

    Luxembourg Gardens

  4. There's alot to see and do in Paris.  You can see the sewers (yep, they give tours of the sewers!...and they're amazing with old history!).  Take an evening dinner-ride on the Bateau Mouches (literally, "fly boats") on the Seine.  See the usual tourist sights....The Eiffel Tower, Mont Martre, Sacre Coeur, The Cathedral of Notre Dame, The Louvre, Jeu De Paume, Pompidou Centre, Arc De Triomphe, Champs Elysee', See where Napoleon is supposedly entombed in Les Invalides, Take a ride on the Metro (subway), See the opera at L'Opera, Dinner at the Moulin Rouge, take a side trip to the Tuileries Gardens or Versailles.

If you had to choose only one, I would take the dinner-ride on the Bateau Mouches along the Seine.
