I just pulled out a sundress from last summer, and I noticed it has a yellowish stain on the front of it! I have no clue what the stain is from, but I need help getting it out! Any advice?

  1. Well try  hand washing with warm water ,and detergent powder or liquid.

    (washing ~~maybe once or twice?)

Look for results before taking to expert dry cleaner.

(chemicals burn holes in cotton ~do not use)

  2. yeloowing is usually related to slow drying of water, maybe you hung it up in the closet when it wasn't quite dry? Anyway, you could try buying a bottle of lemon juice, 250 mls, soak your dress overnight, then rinse and hang in sun for a day. The sunlight will react with the lemon juice and white up you dress without bleaching any colour sections.

Try it on a tea-towel first if you want to prove it.

    Best Luck,

    Rod

  3. Sometimes ammonia will do it, or Shout -- if not there's a bottle of stuff called "baby Stain Remover" for formula stains that should get it!
