  1. Diet is a four letter word that seems so negative, like you are depriving yourself. Consider lifestyle changes instead and do it in moderation.

Start cutting back on the junk food and drinks and instead have more fruits, veggies and water. The best way to lose weight for the long term is to take your time and allow your body to adjust to the changes.

Don't forget portion sizes, also. The American diet consists of obsenely large portions. It's no wonder people are overweight.  Eat 5-6 smaller meals/snacks per day instead of three large ones.

  2. Drink chicken broth only for 3 days, to clean out your system.

  3. Fasting isn't a bad idea, but you can't do it if you have any kind of medical condition.

Also, a low-glucose and high protein diet will effectively cause you to start feeling nauseous when you eat too much. I lost a ton of weight this way, never feeling hungry.

  4. You should give this product a shot. It's called Acai Berry and it's new on the market, but already endorsed by people like Oprah! I just ordered a free 14-day trial from this site.. do it today! you won't regret it!

  5. Exercise.

Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet all the time (not just for weight loss), and exercise at least 5 days a week (shoot for 1 hr a day if you can, even if you split it into two 30 min workouts).

    Good luck!

  6. I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.tripod.com

  7. Kick the diet right out of the window. 100% of all diets fail because as soon as your off the diet you will put back on everything you lost. You need to make life changes in order for oyu to lose weight. Best way to do that?

    Drink only water

    Eat no breads

    Eat more fruits and vegetables.

Only "Diet" that works. Doesnt matter how much you eat at all. If you are eating fruit and vegetables. Cram it in.

  8. Exercise is the first step then eating in moderation. I don't believe in this calorie counting stuff cuz I didn't loose weight with it. Also theres a new over the counter diet pill called Apetatrim you can buy it at CVS or Walgreen's it has been clinically proven to help you loose weight. They did it with people not even excersizing and they lost an average of 8lbs over 4 weeks. You just take it a half hour before each meal.

  9. honestly its not easy... Any candy, junk foodd, most of the yummy stuff you have to get rid of, especially the house... I start my day with a gnc vitapack for women and I drink a glass of water, if you drink a glass in the am it helps jumpstart your metabolism then I snack all day, with the slim fast plan, not the shakes but the new bars, i know i know, youre probably thinking ewww but the new ones are really good. Ive lost 26pounds so far, try and stay away from bananas but melons are awesome with fruit and use lite dressing. Im not too much of a salad eater so i get the 100 calorie packs and beef jerky or rice cakes... the last meal of the day you dont have to go light you have to have real food just dont eat until youre full full. eat til youre content.... well good luck :-)

  10. Follow the guideline of ABC of Good Nutrition.

The Dietary Guidelines are built around the ABC of good nutrition.  Which is Aim, Base and Choose your way to good health.

Aim to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight

Base daily diet on the Healthy Diet Pyramid

    Choose wisely for good health

  11. Honestly I would try what i've been doing for a week. Seriously. I'm 5'9" and used to weigh a whopping 161lbs. And i'm 20 years old so I thought about my calorie intake and stuff like that and decided to cut it in half. Not Skipping Meals! Not starving myself! I went online and checked out the calories in fruit and veggies and I have been on this diet for 8 days as of today and have lost 5 lbs. No joke. I went from having about 2,000 calories a day to 500-1,000 a day. And I eat all the time

I have a cup of cereal (usually about 130-190 calories per 3/4-1 cup) for breakfast

I have a healthy serving of salad for lunch (romaine lettuce (about a cup) turkey bacon (60 calories per slice), red wine dressing (0 calories!!!) and some stir-fry chicken and sesame seeds.

Dinner is a stir-fry or something baked or boiled.

stir-fry, bake and boil your food, it's the healthiest way to cook.

Avoid avocado, bananas, pineapple, pears and potatoes. They have high calories. Ice cream believe it or not is like 110-200 calories per 1/2-1/ cup, it's not bad for you if you have the room left in your tummy. good luck! hope I could help!

  12. First and foremost depending on your age you should see a doctor before begining any exercise or diet program. My advice is to eat less portions, stay away from bread and pasta and count fat grams. The best exercise for most people is walking. Hope that helps.
