Question:

What is the best thing to up grade on manufactured homes for resale. decks? paint? floors?

we want to make our home worth more and were told that decks would do so . Then we were told to paint. we dont want t put out too much money and not see a increase in the over all worth of it. its a 1997 and in great condition but it has no deck? the paint looks great. im stumped.

  1. If they want it they will buy. Do not waste money, they will, have different tastes to you,they may not want a deck.

  3. You didn't mention if it was in a park or on property.I would believe curb appeal will still sell your home.A nice lawn and flowers/bushes can really help.Most people notice the yard first,then the exterior/size of home to fit there needs.

    If it's on property the above still applies but the land makes it worth all the marbles.

  4. I will say it is on its own lot for this answer.

    If there is only those little sets of stairs that they come with, then I think some sort of deck is needed.It could be only

    10x6, but at least it looks like a home.

       If you are talking about a rear deck off patio doors, then I wouldn't do anything. 8/4

    Price is what is going to sell a used Manufactured Home, not little extras.
