What is the best thing to use to get the grime/grease?

off of our microwave vent? Our microwave is above our stove and the vent thing above the door is icky greasy looking! I can unscrew it and take it off - but hot soapy water doesn't seem to cut it. HELP!!

  1. Use some "Simple Green" Stuff works wonders.  @ Home Depot etc.


  2. Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  It cleans greasy messes without much effort.  They are amazing!

  3. Cillit bang.

    Bang! And the dirt is gone ;]

  4. Add some ammonia to the hot soapy water.  It will cut right through the grease.  Just be sure you are in a well vented area.
