What is the best time of the day to put gas in your car?

i just wanted to know whats the best time to put gas in the car .... during the morning or night or at what time?? thankssss ^_^

pumping slow is also supposed to help too because you are not getting as much air when you pump

Whenever you fee like doing so.

The storage tanks are several feet underground, so they are already cool.

The pumps are calibrated for volume at 68 degrees F.

While there are stations that rip you off and don't have the pumps calibrated, that has nothing to do with this.

During the coolest part of the day/night. Usually early morning is the absolute best as your vehicle and the tanks are at the coolest they will get having sat overnight.

The morning when it is coolest, you get more for your money.

It doesn't matter what time of day you get it; the delivery temperature is the key.  Underground storage tanks are like thermoses, and don't have a wide fluctuation of temperature.  

And even if there was some miniscule savings (calculated by most to be 1%), you'd save about $30 a year.  Not worth getting up early.

Temperature has no effect whatsoever on your fuel.  The best time to put fuel in your rig is before it leaves you on the side of the road on empty.  To maximize effeciency, you may want to try an additive that enhances your vehicles performance or mileage.  Usually, they are inexpensive, and you just put it in the tank before you fill up.  Talk to someone at a parts store and they can hook you up with what you need.
