  1. winter

  2. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.  Winter is very popular with people who live up north.  Summer is very popular with families that have school aged children.  Late March and early April is full of spring breakers.

Thus, the best time to go, when the weather is nice, but the ships are least likely to be crowded, is late April and all of May (prior to Memorial Day).

  3. i took one in november. it was the best because it got you out of the semi-cold weather.

  4. chrsitmas or winter time because it would be a great relief from the cold weather plus you don't have to worry about hurricanes.

  5. eary summer or spring that way it is not to hot or not to cold and waters are not to choppy.

  6. Int he winter in Jan. I went on the Carnival Liberty Jan. 13-19, 2008 to the Carrabien and loved it! It's also not as hot and crowded.

  7. Usually during the winter you can get pretty good fairs since everyone is wanting to go somewhere warm and get away from the cold. Now you shouldnt go during Spring Break, Summer, or any other major holiday like New Year's or Christmas. I would say the best time to go is Hurricane Season, so thats usually in August, September, October, through the early part of November. You usually get really good deals, and if there is a hurricane around the area of your port they will just redirect the cruise ship to miss the hurricane, so you will be totally safe, and the only thing you may encounter would be a few waves, and possibly some sea sickness if that. Good luck.

  8. during winter when its not as hot!

  9. We just got back Saturday from a 7-day Caribbean cruise and the weather was beautiful!!!

We were in Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel and the weather was in the 80s and 90s all days with light breezes. The water temps were fairly warm as well!

I only wore long pants on the nights of the formal dinners, other than that, I was in shorts and sandals the whole time and never got cold!

  10. Go in the winter when the weather's all miserable at home :)  Or if you live somewhere that's warm year round, go around february.  Alot less people taking vacations :)

  11. The best time to cruise the Caribbean is just about any time that is outside the hurricane season which is June through the end of October.  The Spring of the year is great because it is not so hot, but it is also great in the winter months.  I have been on winter cruises and the temperatures and water are warm enough to enjoy beaches and swimming.  My last winter cruise was this past December 2 through 9 and it was a great cruise.

Even in the hurricane months its nice in the Caribbean but you just take your chances that your cruise may be changed because of the weather.  SO if you go during hurricane season, for sure get the travel insurance.
