The normal breed season depends on the region they live, but in the four season countries most frequently is in the warm season . A very cold season is some dangerous from the chickens due to the possibility of hypotermia. In tropical countries two breeding seasons  are common.

If you live in the Northern Hemisphere like the U.K. or U.S.A.The best time to start your breeding program is early April through to July.

If you are pairing your birds this wants to be started in January.

Like all birds they have their breeding season and haveing bred them for quite a number of years this is when I commenced my breeding program.
