the best time is between November and February, where temprature is low, low traffic jams by the night because people have schools and universities next day.

also during Ramadan is a good expreience too, 2 weeks from now.

the best time to visit egypt is in the winter from october till feb. to see all egypt.....luxor and aswan,cairo ,red sea , hurghada ,sharm elsheikh,marsa alam.......

For sightseeing, it is quietest in June, July and mid/late September. August can be quiet too, but school holidays have an affect. It gets hot though, up to 40c, but many places  have shaded areas, fans, or air con. March, April, May and October have perfect weather, but gets very crowded. Winter is cold (sometimes very cold), busy, and best avoided as many buildings make cool weather outdoors feel much colder still.

For swimming/diving in the Red Sea, don't visit between December and February, it's too cold and windy to get into the sea. For swimming/diving in the med, don't visit between October-March.
