What is the best time to visit Greece?

Can you please tell me the very best months to visit Greece? And when does school begin in Greece ? Thanks

End of June, beginning of July seemed to be the best time. It gets really hot though. Not humid just hot!

In the summertime is the best, or earlly autumn.  Avoid August, it is too hot then.

Halo Greek girl:Greece is wonderful year round,it all depends on what you like to enjoy?I love all seasons in Greece.

I love spring because of the flowers and pleasant temperatures,April ,May,June are my favorite months,July and August i find too hot but is the best time if you like the beach and the islands.

September,October are fabulous months,you can enjoy all the amazing fruits and the weather is not so hot and humid.All the students are gone to school and we can claim the beach.

As for the winter what can I say,music,theater,galleries,shopping and my all time favorite having coffee with friends in Kolonaki or Glifada,just watching all the famous people go by.

probably in june or july and i suggest you  go to an island (like Crete, it has wonderful beaches). school opens in mid september usually around september 11

We were in Athens in June. It was a little hot in the day(80+ deg. F) but the evenings were beautiful. Don't know about school.
