What is the best time to visit mallorca, Spain? and any accommodation ideas?

What is the best time for 2 students to visit mallorca? We are into outdoor stuff like beaches etc. and what would be the best accommodation? We are looking for something on a budget but not to basic. Would you reccommend a hotel, hostel, or renting out a house for a month? We would prefer to rent out a house but weren't sure of the cost and stuff..Please help!!

Try starting at sispain.com or madridman.com (both have links to all over Spain) and then link up to Mallorca.

I don't think there is a bad time to visit Mallorca, but if you check the prices per night, the cheaper ones would be when it's not as nice.  There are high and low seasons in many places.

I go every September (first 2 weeks) ! Not as many tourists and the weather is still nice and warm ! I have an apartment so i don't use a hotel but you will have a big choice to choose from !
