  1. i diodnt really do anything to prepare and im alive- trust me though the first 3 days they will work you really hard so only the dedicated girls stay. make sure you are running at least a mile every day. also you can do pushups (shotput) practice long jumping, and work on hurdling form. GoOD luCk!

  2. Hi I'm not in middle school yet but I do track on a team...

first of all you shouldn't have too much sweets and no soda what so ever!!!

You don't have to go on an all out diet just eat more healthier things.

At least once a week u should practice at a track close to u (ike a high school track) for starters run a warm up lap (at least 1 lap around the track).

Then do various exercises that will get the heart pumping after the exercises stretch (especially stretch out ur arms and legs the r the key things for track...

U have to think witch one am i gonna be a long distant runner (1500m-up) middle distant runner(400m-800m) or a sprinter (50m-200m) that matters because it depends on how much or little or how fast or slow you should run..

I'm a sprinter and middle distance it is really fun because it feels good to get ribbons and even medals when u win and i hope this helps you!!!

  3. go on youtube and do this 7 day workout... spark poeple swimsuit boot camp cardio workout.. now do this twice a day every day..  there should be a different video for each day of the week so you can change it up

  4. I would stop eating sweets and go with better stuf to fuel your body..and keep running and running and running lol...good luck

  5. first of all, wow, you have to try out for middle school track... your school must be HUGE!.. cut back on the sweets, and keep running/ exercising, but be careful not to over do it... and remember to have fun with it and change it up every once in a while and do some cross training... try rollerblading, biking, or swimming some day (just a couple of ideas)

  6. Since you're in middle school track, I wouldn't worry about your diet and stuff, but it is a good habit to have a heathly diet if you want to run track in high school and college.

It's okay you eat a little more sweets than usual.

In middle school track, may kids haven't had their bodies "fully developed" so workouts and training doesn't really benefit until they are "developed."

So don't worry about it, just run!
