What is the best to try at Olive Garden?

I have never been there before. We are taking my mom there for her birthday this weekend. I have no clue what to try. Any suggestions!

My favorite and perhaps the least expensive on the Menu at Olive Garden is the Soup and Salad. You can have refills on both all you like, and of course lots of ground cheese on top and bread sticks. Somehow that meal makes me leave satisfied and smiling every time. There is an assortment of soups, I prefer the Minestrone. Most of our Seniors enjoy this as well, when we have a dinner out. WE have no room for desert left.

Now there are also a variety of nice chicken and vegetable dishes to select from, this being a Birthday, there may be cake as well. Happy Birthday to your MOM The ambiance is nice at Olive Garden as well. Enjoy

All their food is great, but for dessert you have to try the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. It is the best.

although we have no more olive gardens in toronto. i am italian and always had enjoyed " a tour of italy" when i ate  there, which, was frequently.

if not sure try just spaggts. with plain sauce i am full blooded Italian and there food is alright. not like mama makes though.

Try the tour of Italy. It is sort of a combo dish you get Lasana, chix parm and something else best deal

I do not like their pasta.  I do love their salad and breadsticks though.  Get the unlimited salad and breadsticks and you'll be happy.  If yore a fan of italian pasta, pretty much every dish is dissapointing and sometimes bad.

i wouldn't recommend eating there ever. maybe the food is good but..THEY GAVE ME FOOD POISONING from chicken parm or maybe it was the artichoke dip...either way i was violently ill for the next week or so starting just hours after eating there....

DON'T try their soups!

My dad always gets the eggplant parmesan, and I always just PIG OUT on salad and breadsticks! YuMMMMMMM!

Also, if you're in the mood for dessert, the Chocolate Lasagna is THE BEST thing EVER! :d

Salad and breadsticks are excellent, but I really like the chicken scampi.  It is seasoned chicken with angel hair pasta, red peppers, green peppers and yellow peppers.  Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
