  1. using halogen INDOORS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE IN 4" RECESS CANS. WITH HALOGEN MR16 LAMPS, YOU CAN CONTROL THE BEAM SPREAD FROM 4 DEGREES PIN POINT SPOT, ALL THE WAY TO 60 DEGREE FLOOD. YOU WILL NEED TO USE AN ELECTRONIC OR MAGNETIC LOW VOLTAGE DIMMER DEPENDING ON WHAT KIND OF TRANSFORMER YOU HAVE ON THE FIXTURE ITS SELF.

FLUORESCENTS CAN BE DIMMED BUT YOU MOUST HAVE A BALLAST IN THE FIXTURE THAT IS DIMMABLE. THEN YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A FLUORESCENT DIMMER. TRY WWW.LUTRON.COM FOR DIMMERS AND LIGHT CONCEPTS OR LITHONIA FOR THE FLUORESCENT FIXTURES
