What is the best tool to use when scraping paint off outside door and window frames?

I am removing some peeling paint on an outside door and window frame. Some of the paint is coming right off, but other spots are difficult. I don't want to use any chemicals, so I'm looking for the best way to scrap the paint off using some type of tool.

A heat gun.

Small paint scraper and a putty knife. You can follow up with sandpaper after scrapping. Be careful old paint pre 1980 could contain lead. Take precautions.

Generally it depends on what the material is that you are trying to remove paint from. Putty knife/scraper, Exacto Knife/Razor Blade *do this with caution, not recommended for anyone with any kind of bleeding issues, or children* Otherwise there are solutions that you can purchase at your local hardware store.
