Sense they are switching to all digital I am looking for a tv that will last and has good quilty picture! So please help me decide!

According to Consumer Reports it is Panasonic, whether its LCD or plasma. They have the lowest repair rating.

For picture quality the best TV you can currently buy is a Pioneer plasma.

Check with CONSUMER REPORTS magazine. They always have the best answers when it comes to making a big purchase like that.

If it's LCD TVs, the panel is the most important. I was told only Sharp, LG & Samsung manufacture them, the rest of the brands buy from them
