What is the best tv-dvd connection,Scart or S-video?

  1. RGB scart is the best, then S-video, then Non-RGB scart. Component is the bestbest if you can do that...


  2. RGB Scart in my experience but try the mid price one before splashing out on the gold standard job. Depending on your equipment a good quality lead usually works fine.

    FOR AUDIO USE FIBEROPTICS  DIGITAL CABLE.

  4. Scart.  S-video is being phased out

  5. You're living in the past, man, get something with HDMI sockets.

  6. Depends on your TV and DVD player.

    If both equipments have RGB pins working then SCART is as good as component video - 3 / 4 phono plugs - apart from the dodgy nature of the SCART connector pins (talk about a cheap & cheerful design !).

    If your SCART connection is composite video (the norm ?) then you're marginally better off with S-video ....

    Sorry but you really need to read your equipment specs on this .... but if you have cables available for both just try it .... proof is in the seeing !
