I dont understand!

I see "HD ready" tvs that dont display full HD, 42" for £450 and 32" for £2000. How do I choose. I want a large TV (37 - 42") that I can plug my laptop and amp into. I dont want blur on fast moving images. A good warranty would e a bonus. Thats about all I know. I have £500 to spend and have been looking it the following:

42" PHILIPS 42PFP5532D/05 - £499

42" LG 42PG3000 - £550

37" GOODMANS LD3765D - £480

37"PHILIPS 37PFL5522D/05 - £499

37" Toshiba 37AV505DB - £460

Is there anyone out their that can compare the speck or that has some useful knowledge to help me decide. I have know knowledge so talk to me the way you would a 10 year old!

Thanks allot for your help!

  1. From the TVs you specifically ask about, go with the Toshiba! It is clearly superior to the others, most of which are of questionable quality. In 42" LCD, for both performance and reliability, look at Sony Bravia and Toshiba Regza. In 37" LCD, the two best are Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia. A little bit less expensive, but still good quality is Toshiba.

If you do not want any blur, go with a Panasonic Viera 42" or 37" plasma display - dollar for dollar, it is your very best buy for both performance and reliability!!! You can make your budget with sharp shopping.
