I want to get a ball python soon, but I am not quite sure what type of bedding I should use. Is there something inexpensive, but good? I look down on some wood products because of mites... answers and suggestions please!!!

  1. ive had ball Python's all my life and what i would highly suggest would  be Carefresh its an envoirmentally friendly biodegradablee bedding madefrome reclaimed pulp waste its free of ink dyes and chemicals

it last 2X longer than shavings and absorbs 3X its weight in liquid

    plus its odercontroll

its really the best you can buy

  2. I always suggest coconut shavings for a ball python because it looks nice, is easy to spot-clean, and holds humidity well. The snakes like it too.

  3. I use the reptile carpet for my snakes. But in the past I have used aspen.

  4. I use reptibark - I haven't had a problem with mites.  A lot of people use soft aspen, I've heard that works great. Some people swear by eco earth. You can even just use paper towels or newspaper.
