  1. i would suggest a used honda, toyota or nissan. they are the most reliable and get great gas mileage

cars you can look at are honda civic, accord, toyota camry, corolla, nissan sentra, altima

  2. MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE IT LOOKS TIGHT N GIRLY

  3. Mitsubishi, Mustang?  I don't think so.  Honda civic or accord.  Toyota camry, tercel or corolla.  Subaru makes some good cars but make sure there is a garage that will work on them near you.  Chevy cavalier and Ford focus are generally reliable and safe cars.  Whatever you choose consider whether parts are available (tough for Kia, Hyundai, and Subaru in many areas) and whether you local mechanic is able to maintain it.  Some mid-size cars are available for less money right now because of gas prices.  If you're not driving a ton of miles then the savings might pay for the increase in gas costs, allowing you to buy a newer or lower mileage car.  Good luck

  4. any Japanese car in that price range will have over 150,000 miles on it.  way overpriced.

    a saturn would be good

    mustang V-6

    Jetta.

if you're really practical, look for a low-mileage Ford Focus.  Great value for the $$$ if you're cool enough on the inside that you don't need a car to make you look cool.

  5. Best bet is a Subaru, any model built in the 1990s.

Toyota is also good, The Tercel is great up into the late 90s. Camry starts to develop problems after late 80s.

However you go with used car you want lowest mileage you can find. Test drive and if possible have my brother, or any mechanic, check it out for you.

When you decide to buy used car remember you will need money on hand for repairs and maintenance.

  6. you can basically get anything because 5000 is alot to start out with buying a car try to get something small so you can save money and gas on it your just starting out so you dont want anything too big but you  still dont want anything you don't like try something like a(honda accord, honda civic, mitsubishi galant)or something similar

  7. you can get a nice mustang for that kind of money

  8. Toyota Camry or Corolla are excellent first cars...very reliable and gas efficient.

Honda Accord or Civic isn;t too bad either.... but go with Toyota first though :)

  9. i would def go with a used honda civic. they are inexpensive, reliable, and have low maintenance costs. they usually get pretty good milage with proper care and maintenance. they are not over-powered, which is important as a first time driver. insurance is usually really cheap for civics but expect to pay a premium because you are 18. if for some reason you are not happy with the design/performance of the civic, look at the toyota camry or nissan sentra; other great choices. good luck.

  10. Something that gets high mileage, and if it's used, get one that's low milage, under 2500 miles, pretty much common sense.
