  1. mediterranean cruise

    or panama canal

as far as mainstream cruiselines, princess, royal carribbean, holland american and others offer many interesting itineraries.

    cruisecritic.com

    cruiseclues.com

    cruisereviews.com

are all great places to find info.

  2. Royal Caribbean.  I stick with the same cruise line as I am building up points.  Plus the Visa card that I use is from Royal Caribbean.  I am starting to get automatic upgrades when I go on cruises.  Eventually, I will get a free cruise.  Royal Caribbean is the second biggest out there.  Their new Freedom of the Seas ship is one of the biggest in the world.  Over 5,000 people can be on that ship.  But you know what when you are out there on any ship you still feel so small compare to the size of the ocean.

  3. It really depends on what you are looking for as their are so many options out there...  my personal fave is Disney.

  4. I have been on many cruises but two stand out as my best. One was on a Princes cruise line ship, the Island Princess and the cruise was out of Ft Lauderdale, FL. to the Panama Canal. It was a 12 day cruise that had stops in Costa Rica, Costa Maya, Mexico; and Ocho Rios, Jamaica also. I loved the ship and all of the Princess ships I have been on have been very nicely decorated and have had very comfortable cabins. Their food and entertainment is also great.

THE best cruise I have been on was on the Royal Caribbeans' Brilliance of the Seas and it was a 12 day cruise out of Barcelona, Spain to the Mediterranean. The port stops included Nice (including Villefranche, Monaco and Monte Carlo); Florence/Pisa, Italy; Rome, Italy; Naples, Italy; Athens, Greece, and the Greek Isles of Santorini and Mykonos. And then also Ephesus, Turkey. This cruise had a lot of history and must see sights, like the Vatican and the Colosseum in Rome, Pompeii near Naples, the Leaning Tower in Pisa, the biblical city in Ephesus and the Acropolis in Athens. It has spectacular scenery in the Greek isles and other places.

The Brilliance of the Seas is my favorite ship of all of the more than 15 cruises I have been on. It is pretty new and has the latest conveniences and amenities, like the new pillow top beds. I like best the layout of the ship and the fact that the casual dining area has provision for eating outside on the back of the ship. Many of the new ships don't have this feature. RC has 4 ships with these identical feature and I have also been on one other of them, the Jewel of the Seas

We went to the Med at the beginning of October and the weather was just perfect. I even sat out on the balcony at night and it was pleasant.

I have been on cruises on Princess, Norwegian, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean and I like Royal Caribbean best.  I have been on cruises to Alaska, Mexico, Europe and all over the Caribbean but the tow cruises described above are my favorites.

  5. Here we go. It all depends on what you like to do and what your willing to spend.

Royal Caribbean- RCC is great for familys and couples. Their ships are also the biggest and the best. At 155,000 metric tons you would imagine there is something to do on there. Their currently biggest ship (also the largest ing the world) is Freedom of The Seas, Liberty of The Seas, and Independance Of The Seas. There are all the same but the each have a huge rock wall, a surf simulator, mini golf course, adult only hottubs hangimg off the edge overlooking the sea, ice skating rink, boxing ring, flat screen tvs in every stateroom, Royal Promenade (like a mall), Presidential Family Suite with 4 bedrooms and a private balcony and hot tub, and all the regular things like theamed bars and resturants and much more. If you wait a couple years you can go on RCC 220,000 ton ship. Not sure of the name though.

Carnival- Carnival has many partys and is mostly for kids in my opinion. They have 24 hour pizza buffet, slides on their pools, and in their newest ship weighing in at 113,300 tons, and featuring a total guest capacity of 3,006, the Carnival Splendor will introduce a host of new features, including: staterooms with flat screen TVs, a spectacular 21,000 sq foot, two-level spa and gym facility, 5,500-square-foot children’s playroom and a mid-ship pool covered with a two-deck-high Sliding Sky Dome. I think carnival is copying RCC's ships. They even came out with a ship named Carnival Freedom. Carnival is cheaper but not as big ships and not as much to do on their best ship.

Princess- I myself highly dont recommend Princess since they are not one of the biggest companys and they dont have any specail ships that costs billions of dollars. Also many problems have come up with their ships like people getting sick. I dont even want to describe their ships because they are not worth the money.

Nowegian Cruise Lines- Nowegian is another great cruise company with awesome ships. The best ships are Pearl and Gem. Pearl has many things to do like

Bowling, Tahitian Pool, Fitness Center, Hot Tubs, Kid's Pool, South Pacific Spa and Beauty Salon, Stardust Theater, Pearl Club Casino, Art Gallery and Internet Cafe, Jogging/Walking, Track, Basketball/Volleyball/ Tennis Court, Trade Routes, Boutiques, The Chapel Card Room, LifeStyle Room, The Library, Aqua Kid's Club, Metro Center, Video Arcade, Photo Gallery, Meeting Rooms, and Corona Cigar Club. NCL also offers freestyle cruising which allows you to do what you want when you want. No pre-set dinner times.

If I were going on a cruise I would definetly choose Royal Caribbean Or Norwegian. Hope this was helpful and have fun. =-)
