  6. The best type of dance class to build stronger legs in ballet because when you are stretching they really want you to be able to be flexible with yourself, especially with your legs. Ballet will not only build stronger legs but will help with your spins to be faster and narrower.

  10. I agree with most of the answers.  Ballet is the best type of dance to build strong legs.  Don't take my word for it though...the product speaks for itself.  Just look at a picture of the male dancers from American Ballet Theatre.  Absolutely beautiful works of art....very strong!

  11. If you do it with the correct form as you are instructed, ballet really works your legs. Your legs will feel like they're on fire towards the end of almost every class that you attend, even once you are in shape.

    Ballet is a crazy work out even though most associate it with the image of delicate ballerinas in tutus
