Mine always break, when they aren't put through much abuse at all. I also have the problem of them always falling out of my left ear. So is there a brand and model thats good quality and durable, that maybe have hooks on the backs?

  1. I love my Bose In-Ear headphones.  They don't have hooks but they come with three different sized silicone tips.  Here is an excerpt from the Bose description:

Bose in-ear headphones are also designed to remain comfortable and stable in your ears for hours. What makes it possible is their innovative, soft silicone tips shaped to rest gently and securely in the outer bowl of your ear. And to ensure a more accurate fit, three sets of different-sized tips are included.

I know the original design had a problem with the tips falling off but they have since corrected that problem.  Since I had my set registered, they sent the new tips to me for free without me contacting them.

They may not be the cheapest but you said they don't get too much abuse.

    Good luck in your search.

  2. it depends what type of sound quality you are looking for. I have a pair of sony extra base ear buds. They cost about $35 but sound very good. I was looking into buying the bose ear buds but those cost about $100 and I was afraid of losing them. Go to an audio store or a place like best buy or Fry's and see what they have. The I-pod ones are very uncomfortable for prolonged use.

  3. magnavox there only 4.99 but they dont have hooks but they stay in
