When I awake I often have pain to my neck or back which dissipates rather quickly. I wonder if it is from my mattress or pillows or if it is Arthritis beginning to exhibit itself. Whatever it is which mattress provides the best comfort and support?

  1. It could be both that's giving you pains. But I would go see your doctor frist before buying a new mattress. I have a tempurpedic mattress right now, and it doese not work. I still wake up with pain, and when I was pregnant I was not comfortable at all. I had to sleep with six pillows. I had a hard mattress that did not work, then I a Sealy mattress that did not work at all. I had to thorw it way because it was bowing and I had it for less the a year. The places were I get it would not take it back. If I could buy a new mattress I would go for the Sleep number. Were you can pick your comfort.

  2. I think a good quality memory foam mattress will provide the best support. It does not have to be one of the leading brands but the actual composition of the mattress is important.
