What is the best type of paint to use

Question

on my front door? Currently it is black, and has lost it's luster..looking dull. Just want to give it a new look. Any help would be appreciated.

I would recommend Benjamin Moore Paint.  Use at least a "semi gloss" latex, but you may want to prime it first using a latex based Zinnser primer.  If your door is facing the direct sunlight as mine does, you'll find using a high gloss will give you a little extra time on the finished coat.

An exterior semi-gloss would be best, it gives a shine and stands up to the elements.
