  1. Hello,

Great post.  The most important part of business is advertising.  This makes or breaks a business.  Some of the best ways to advertise I've found are:

    1.  Offline promoting (business cards, flyers, newspaper and other print advertising).

    2.  Online promoting (buying banner ads, forum posts, email auto replies).

The best method that's worked for me so far is handing out business cards.  I don't do this in the usual way.... I buy them in bulk from a place online (they give the cards for free, I just  paid shipping and handling...they also give a really nice free business card holder, it looks impressive).  They're really high quality.  I just put all of the info about my business on the cards, and I hand them out on cars at bus stations, malls, etc.  It's worked out really, really well for me, and it's completely inexpensive =)

    Good Luck with your business!

  2. Any business that you start can be a professional business depending on the way you conduct it.  In my opinion, from personal experience, the best type of business (for me anyway) is a home based business.  I have the same income opportunity as a traditional business but I don't have all the over head expenses.  I didn't have too many skills, but I went through a program that taught me the things I needed to learn in order to conduct my own business in the telecommunications industry.  I learned from Donald Trump.  After you've learned the skills you feel you need to know, look into just about any industry and you can have a professional business.  The best type is matter of opinon.  I told you my personal feelings on what is the best type and for me that's telecommunications.  For you it maybe something different.  What are some of the things you like to do?  What are some of the things you dislike to do.  If you pin point what you like and want, you can pin point what type of industry to look into for a business for yourself.  Only you can choose which one is best for you, and not by anyone else.

  3. If you follow the advise of the successful entrepreneurs they will all say skip the college and "Just Do It". I have 35 years experience starting and operating my own companies. I also have two college degrees and they have never helped me once not to mention the time delayed achieving my success. There are several opportunities available to young entrepreneurs with a passion to succeed. I was able to retire at a early age and now devote my time to my family and helping as many people I can achieve the same success. I am always available to answer your questions and help in anyway I can.
