What is the best type of protein? Whey, Soy or regular protien? What is the differences?

What is the difference between these protiens? Also what is the best meat to eat, chicken, beef, lamb or porkchop, steak etc.? I am trying to build muscles. Thanks

  1. Whey is best after your workout. Casiean is best for over night as it digest slower almost like time release. As far as meats fish and lean steak are my personal faves.


  2. Soy will lower you testosterone levels and increase your estrogen levels. Whey concentrate would be the best followed by whey isolate. Look at the biological values and for some sources like nuts think about whether you are able to digest the food or is it passed through.

    Casein is another form of Protien as found in Eggs and Dairy produce.  As it is a slow acting protien it is excellent to take before bed to stop muscle breaj down during the night.  

  4. The difference depends on the bioavailability of the protein, and the amino acid content.

    A bunch of fingernail clippings and hair could equal your protein needs--but it isn't very bioavailable.

    Eggs are one of the best sources of protein.
