  1. The answer to your question is the Ski doo summit 800. Ski doo rules the snowmobiling world, especially with their new sled the 08 summit 800. We snowmobile with lots of different people. Almost every single one we have converted from Arctic Cat, Polaris, and Yamaha to Ski doo. Once you ride Ski doo, you never go back. Although, i have ridden the Polaris Dragon and it rivals the Ski doo summit 800, but i prefer Ski doo.

  2. Yamaha -anyone. Apex is the best sled out there , all the others are unreliable and basically junk. And have nowhere near the power of my sled.

Many people say they're bad sleds because they don't have one and can't afford one. They're kinda pricey starting at $9000

  3. What company makes the best pickup truck? that's the same type of question, and you're going to get the same type of answers. nobody can make the decision for you. i think every sled company has had it's day in the sun. So, i would say that the best type of sled is the one that fits you, your riding style, where you ride, and the riding conditions. remember....trees hurt. especially the ones that jump onto the trail in front of you

  4. It's definitely down to two sleds.  It's either the Polaris Dragon or the Arctic Cat M8.  They're both incredible sleds so it just comes down to what you like yourself.  I firmly believe that the Dragon is the best sled out right now though.

  5. Well I am a Polaris guy so know that first off. My current sled is a 2005 Polaris RMK 900. I love the sled it has so much power and I feel like I can go anywhere. The new Polaris' are in my opinion the best sled out this year just because of the features that they offer and I have seen them do some pretty incredible stuff.

  6. You will never get a straight answer stratus. Sorry to say, I guess it's kinda like different strokes for different folks. I'm a Ski-Doo guy, so personally, anything that isn't yellow/black I look down on. (especially Cat's. Ski-Doo's and AC people have this ongoing rivalry..)

As for which sled your looking for, there are different options. There is a high performance sled, a trail sled, a mountain sled...

Ski-Doo's are my forte, so I could tell ya a thing or two about 'em.

Personally, I love the MXZ's for High Performance. ( I have one myself) The new 2008 SS looks like it's gunna be balls-on.

The Summit from what I hear is the best Mountain sled around. I have a friend that has a summit with 2 inch lugs and a nice long track.

If your into touring, look at the Legend. It's a very comfortable ride (yes, even two up) and it has the power to go thru deeper snow with the extra weight.

I can't say much about the other companies, but that's my opinion.
