What is the best type of volleyball?

I am trying our for my high school volleyball team. Anyone have any tips? Exercizes so I can get in shape?

  1. Try jogging a little bit everyday. Practice anytime you can and do anything to stay in shape.

    if ur gonna practice with a vb dont get the like.. light ones that don't hurt becuasee when u play its gonna be a harder ball

  3. i have played volleyball competetivly for many years and personally, i like the lightweight,GameBall by SportsCraft. some tips? hmmm...well for one, volleyball is easy to fall out of if u dont practice, so PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! also, even though you have your own little section to stay in, dont be afarid to jump in and help out if needed! dont be overlyhelpful,like stealing balls from others, but make sure that ball doesnt hit the ground!

  5. Do suicides meaning Line touches. The best way is to practise jumping alot! Or even better going up and down your stairs to get your leg muscles working. attempt doing push ups to get upper body strength and drink alot of fluids!

  8. ive played and coached for many years. my preference to a good ball was a Tachikara or Mikasa. as far as conditioning, if youre a setter, strong hands are a good thing. like someone else said, stairs are good, but do them on your toes, strengthen your calves for jumping. above all, be fundamentally sound. practice your fundamentals!

  9. just practice well and dont let anyone see your weaknesses and strengths because when they see it then they will know what are your next moved and just relaxed and be yourself. im the captain ball when i was in 6 th grade. and always listen to your coach. and if you passed! try to get some play and show it to your coach. hope this was the best.
