What is the best university for undergraduate engineering (electrical)does that have NRI quota?

  1. U.S. News comes out with a list every year with the rankings of best undergrad and grad program in engineering including electrical engineering. You can go to their website but they will only tell you the top 4, you have to pay a nominal fee to see the whole list.

    The best schools for electrical engineering would be MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley, University of Illinois Urbana Champaigne, etc.

    For an undergraduate education it doesn't matter where you go if the school is top 100. You will receive an education that is equivalent with any other top 100 school with maybe the exception being one of the top 5 schools. You should mainly focus on maintaining a high GPA.

    Grad school is when you should try to go to the 'best' university for your studies. Because they will usually have a lot of money for your research and you may gain a great experience and high recommendation from it.  

    I don't believe the schools will disclose whether or not they have an NRI quota. I think many engineering schools do not.
