What is the best university or centre for distance learning in Canada?

I'm looking for the best distance learning school. Any suggestions?

  1. Athabasca University for post-secondary. It is provincially accredited and courses taken there are recognized by all Canadian post-secondary institutions.

  3. I agree - for college level courses, if it must be a Canadian university, Athabasca is the best choice. A second option is to check if your course of choice is also offered through distance learning in "traditional" universities (UBC, McGill, etc.). Some of them do have limited offering of distance learning degrees.

    However, unlike the first response I would say that unless you "have to", ***do not** take University of Phoenix, De Vry or any other such private for profit universities. They do not have such a wonderful reputation
