Which is the best? Dyson, Bissell, Eureka ...? I have tried to review but for as many web sites as you go to you get that many different opinoins. Was thinking about the Dyson DC15 Animal Ball vacuum? Tell me your thoughts and personal vacuum experiences.

Thanks

  1. definitey Dyson, I bought one because I have 2 cats.  I just love it, it really picks up everything.

  2. NONE of the ones you have listed. Kenmore uprights and especially canisters are the absolute best. Go to Sears and try 1. you will like it!

  3. I am sorry, but I must disagree about the Dyson Animal. I bought

one on SALE @ Home Depot last year @ $579.00....thinking it is

worth paying a higher price if its all what it is cracked up to be.

And upon my first month or so, it was amazing! But, being made

of  plastic as most all are, the latch that holds the debris canister

on broke off, and very easily I might add. Then, after having it for

almost one year, I found out How Much it WAS NOT picking up,

after buying a Bissell Quick Steam cleaner @ $69.00 @ Sears,

and as always, before using the steamer, you must vacuum fist,

then vacuum again, in order to pick up all debris and dirt before

you steamclean. Well, I ended up jamming the steamer with all

the debris like dog/cat and human hair that the vacuum never did

pick up in the first place! And I am adiment about cleaning out the

vacuum, steamer, or any thing I use each and every time I use it,

from the dirt holder to washing the filters, so it is NOT due to my

own neglience or misuse. It is due to the fact these newly made

supposingly amazing appliances are not built to LAST! They do

not perform as they once had, for very long. So if you want to get

a vacuum that does an amazing job but for only a short amount of

time at such a steep price, then buy a Dyson Animal. But, I am

very disappointed in it myself, and always think I could have had

three different new vacuums for that one price. It does not even

have a light at its base, like most! But, I wanted to give you my

opinion and share my own experience with you, in hopes that it

might help! Good Luck and hope you choose a good one! :) Dee

  6. The dyson is the best.  My friend bought one and told me to vacuum my floor with my vacuum, which was a eureka.  She came over with her Dyson DC15 and vacuum my floor and I was amazed at how much came up off the floor after I had vacuumed.  I was sold at that point and went out to get my Dyson.  It is expensive but if you like a super clean house this is the best and plus my husband is allergic to everything so it has helped alot with his allegies.  Plus I love how much cat hair it sucks up.

    Good Luck!!!
