I know there are a lot of versions out there, especially for the 17, but which version would you get if you could? I think I'd go for the 18 if I could actually get it, but for your personal choice, which Glock would you buy and why?

  1. I have a glock 23 a 40 caliber compact glock. While it suits my needs very well i dont think i can call 1 particular gun the best just becuase there are other  guns that might suit differnet needs better.  The glock 23 is compact easy for concealed carry, and fires .40 caliber rnds.  Glocks in gerneral are highly customizable with aftermarkets parts.  I bought a conversion barrel for mine so i can shoot 9mm ammo at the range because .40 ammo is a little more expensive.  Other glocks might suit other people needs better. Some people like larger caliber bullets .45 and others think recoil is an issue and go with 9mm.  GLocks come in 3 sizes sub compact, compact and full size. All with their own advantages.  The smaller the gun the easier to hide but the larger the gun the more bullets u can fit int eh magazine.  Also hand size might play a factor in picking your weapon.  So all in all glock tries to cover all the bases in certain peoples needs and expectations so finding the one that suits your needs the best it what u should do.   The glock 18 to my understanding is a fully auto hand pistol which is illegal in teh US for most people exluding law enforcement etc.  Glock in gerneal has a reputation for a reliable gun.  For home defense uses it is one of the most dependable weapons on the market.  Hope this answered ur question.
