What is the best video camera for filming professional looking movies?

I have made many movies and have a big one coming up and I want it to look like an actual movie rather than a cheesy home-made one. I want one that will be able to be imported into an Imac for editing. The canon vixia HF10 caught my attention because it can film in the same way that professional movies do. If there is a better one please suggest it and put the price.

It all depends on how much you want to spend.

You can buy a used Canon XL-1s or XL-2 fairly cheaply. On the HDV side a Sony Z1U does pretty nice.

Remember, what makes most professional movies look good isn't just the color depth and resolution of the camera - but also the quality of the lenses, presence of supplemental lighting and use of a good tripod/steadicam.
