What is the best vitamin to take for an athletic, 16 year old?

I work out: run a few miles in the morning, lift dumbells and use a pull up bar.

And i want a vitamin that will help me buil and tone muscle, and that might give me energy?

I used to take one a day all day energy

but it just says * for an active mind and body, to help with everyday activities*

i dont need a vitamin...to help me think. Haha. I can think just fine.

It just seems like not a vitamin someone like me needs. But i could be wrong? It could be the perfect vitamin. Help?

  1. I use GNC Sport multi-vitamin. You take two a day with food. It's supposed to help your protien shake (if you take one) better absorb into your body. i.e helps build muscle and muscle tone.


  2. A multi vitimin would do just fine.

  4. Protien mixes definetly help. Protein Builds muscle and decreases fat if you take it and exercise.

  5. Just take a multivitamin, I think I take Centrium or something.

  6. well, multivitamins and ascorbic will do honey.

  7. Vitamins don't give energy or help build muscle.

    Buy some whey protein for muscle building, pre or post workout.

    I would probably also take a couple multi-vitamins
