  1. The one that best suits the your abilities, riding style, and size.  The answer is, it is completely subjective.  A personal choice.   I would suggest heading over to http://www.wakeside.com/page/w/CTGY/wake...

Pick a manufacturer, and scroll over their wakeboard selection.  The web application will show on the meter below the boards, the Pop, Feel and suggested Ability of the rider for said board.  Pop vs Distance; for some tricks you want to end up way out into the flats, so you would want to choose a board that would be rated for more distance than pop.  If you want to get bucked up into the air, you will want one that has more pop.   If you are starting out, I would suggest one with a little more pop than distance on the meter, most of the tricks you will want to be doing to start, trust me you want to be going up rather than out.  You probably would want a board that is more in the middle of the feel classification. Not too loose but not completely tight.  As far as the ability meter, choose a board that is in a range covering beginner to intermediate.  This way you have plenty of room to progress before outgrowing the board.

Also, before you buy, go to you local board shop and rent a demo board of the one you are thinking about purchasing.  This way you get a feel for the board before you buy.  Any rental fee at most shops will go towards the purchase of a new board.  You can typically rent one for several days for about $40 or so, bindings included.  Worth the time and money to ensure you don't get a board that is too advanced for you skills.
