  1. new balance 360 and if they aren't high enough arches add dr. scholes. goody's carries them and just about any store in the mall.

  2. nike shocks.

  3. arch supports will help any type of shoe you find comfortable to begin with

  4. My suggestion would be to go to a running specialty store and have someone fit you for a shoe. Whenever I need a new running shoe, at the store I go to I've tried on as many as 8 pairs of shoes before I find the right ones. At the place I go to they'll have you try on shoes and run around the store for them so they can see how your feet strike the ground and your body motion to find the shoe that works best for you. Not to rip on Foot Locker, but Ive been to one and they tried selling me basketball shoes as running shoes because they looked "cool".

  5. You can always get arch support inserts and put them into any shoe.  This way you do not have to limit your choices.  You can get sports arch supports, that work well with sports shoes.

Most of the arch supports can be custom fit for your foot as well.

  6. I have high arches and even going to fleet feet (they watch you walk and recommend a the correct shoe for you) I still have problems. I was at CVS (same as Walgreen's or Echards) and found some arch supports from Dr. Sholls. Try that, they might help.

  7. New Balance shoes have big arches

  8. Not Nike Shox.  No serious running store will carry Shox.

There are a dozen great shoes for runners with high arches.  Finding the right shoe, unfortunately, is not as simple as determining your arch height.  For example, the adidas Response Cushion 16 and the adidas Supernova Cushion 6 are both great shoes.  The Supernova is built for a heavier runner (heavier than 180 for men) while the Response is much lighter and less bulky.

Your best course of action is to find your local running store and have them fit you.
