What is the best way for a 13 yr old girl to break into acting?

is there an agency or a management company that is legit and wont ask for money up front like john robert powers or be agency? she would like to be a disney star or nickelodeon star is there any way to deal with them directly? any contacts, etc? thanks

get acting lessons and/or go to acting camp...

then you should audition for small things and slowly work your way up.

you should also talk to ur parents about it and see what they say and what they can do to help.

Try out for a part in a play at your local theater. It's great experience and it'll give you something to put on your resume.

Don't expect to break into a big company like that right away, especially with no experience, since it's mostly a luck factor. But it's really a question if by "acting" you mean "performing" or "being famous and meeting the *gag* Jonas brothers"

At your age, you'll need parental concent and an agent to start. Otherwise, you'll have to pack in lots of training, classes, and more training until you reach the age where you can go it alone. Then, you need to do what every other actor has done to get into the business...... = work hard, do the rounds, be seen, be heard, keep your instrument tuned and sharp, get an agent, etc!
