  1. There are many ways to decrease the cost of spending money on gas. First off, an easy way would to be selling your car and get a better fuel efficent car. I don't know what kind of car you have but in today's world, a lot more auto makers are making cars to run a lot better. Hybrids, import cars (honda, toyota, scion, nissan etc...).  But if you want to keep your car, just be sure your car is kept up to date. One of the best ways to achieve the best gas mileage is to have your tires properly inflated. You car will run smoother and get better gas mileage. Also, be sure your oil gets changed every 3,000 miles or 3 months. I personally change mine every 2,000 miles. Cleaner oil is really good for a motor. Besides that, use cruise control when driving on highway, don't floor your gas pedal when taking off from a street light and don't have your RPMs up so high. Shift earlier (if manual). If you have an automatic, just press the gas pedal to the minium you will need to get up to your speed and it will shift at the proper time for you. If you still want more, your local parts store should carry a couple fluids to include in your gas and oil. One brand is called M&Mystery oil and Zmax. I use both of them in my car and it rides good. These solutions are pretty good to increase your gas mileage. Finally, try and carpool w/ a friend or coworker or family member. There are buses that ride around town. Just only drive when you need to. Hope this helps!

  2. Walk when you can, buy a bicycle or use Public Transportation.  Oh and there's always Car Pooling!

  3. Walk, Run, Skip, Rollerblade, buy a moped!  GOYA
