What is the best way of cleaning the seal around the door of a refrigerator?

First of all be very careful if you use bleach, it will dry out the seal and cause it to deteriorate, a VERY mild solution is ok, I would go to borax or something similar. Hot water, a mild detergent such as Dawn or Ivory, a tiny bit of bleach and a medium bristle small scrub brush will do the trick. If you were confident, I would even go so far as to suggest removing the seal and then reattaching, but unless you have experience, do not attempt.

well i just use dawn dish liquid a sponge  a go around the seal careful/ i also bought a brush u can get it a bobs hardware

I use soapy water and an old tooth brush to get into the creases.

That molding is always tricky. I use bleach and an old toothbrush. Borax and a toothbrush might work too.
