  2. The best way to lose weight, is to be consistant on your diet.

If your going to eat healthy, eat fresh. Make all the salads or meals yourself. Eat the vegetables and fruits :D make them with low fat or plain yogurt. You can boil the vegetables and squeeze a lil lemon and sprinkle pepper! It's pretty tasty.

And don't forget to drink lots and lots of waterr. But remember to keep your portions small, eat till your just about full, and never eat in front of the T.V.

As for exercising. Do cardio/aerobic workouts. Try running, jogging, biking, dancing, swimming, hiking, walking, etc. It's summer! Enjoy the outsides! Take walks on days where you're resting to let your muscles heal. Work out an hour to two hours for 3-4 days a week. You have to rest in between days.

If you want to build muscle in a specific place then do crunches/situps (stomach), lunges (thighs+buttocks), push ups (biceps), swats (thighs), etc.

As for tips. I'd say losing weight its not just all about the scale. Try losing weight by the fitting of your clothes. If somethings too tight or big, lose or gain weight until your the size you want :D (just dont go extreme and go for a size 0) Just the perfect fit.

At the end of your day work out and stress, you need to remember to relax. Do yoga (also a way of burning calories and toning, yet RELAXING) or meditate. Working out raises stress level, so you need about an hours worth of relaxation and silence. Breathe.

Drinking green tea can furthur burn the calories while you're relaxing. I heard green tea boosts metabolism, so you might want to give it a try. Drink it while you're reading a book and relaxing.

And remember, only lose weight to a certain degree. Once you feel comfortable in your own body and weight, just go ahead and stay at that weight. Don't keep losing just to be skinny. Just till you feel comfortable and fit.

Just remember, this is not just for losing weight. Its for health! So keep it up! :]

    Best Of Luck.

  3. Keeping a food journal really does help.  It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days.  Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.

Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Drink plenty of water. You will begin to see changes in your body.

Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc.  Here are a couple of helpful links.

  4. those are the two best things there arent many other ways to lose weight and still be healthy

  5. Eat in smaller portions. And also, even if you want to have big meals, drink a lot of water between chews. It'll  make you get full off your food faster and want to eat less.

Try lighter meats like chicken and turkey, (fish too if you consider that a meat.) They're healthier and are better than beef and pork for your body.

Try to down size the little snacks during the day. Little snack add up, and if you just keep drinking water, you won't even be hungry often.

If you don't like water, try those water flavoring packets. Those help. Get a good one too, not the fake sugars.

Exercising doesn't sound fun, but it can still be fun if you put it towards something you like to do. You can try out a sport you amy like, or roller-skating, or jump roping, or dancing, or just simply jogging. Remember, you can start with small amounts of exercise, so don't psych yourself out.

Reward yourself. Give yourself a little reward every time you meet a personal goal. Let's say you wanted to exercise for 30 minutes a day, three times a week. If you met that goal, treat yourself by buying something you've wanted, or maybe a new dessert you've wanted to try.

  6. Eat the meals a day...snack only good foods...no exercise.

  7. Eating right and exercise ARE the best way.  It's not rocket science.  Don't buy soda or junk food, buy lean meats, fruits and veggies.  For exercise do 20-30 minutes of running, cycling, swimming 3-5 days a week.

    Again, not rocket science.

  8. Running every morning because the sun isn't up yet, yoga, karate, drink a lot of water
