  1. Every kids are different. They learn best differently.

You will have to observe what he like and gear your methods towards his interest. Some learn via watching TV, some learn from listening, some learn by involving.

My 3 yr old daughter like to watch video seem young, but my younger daughter never able to sit still in front of TV. I know that my 3 yr old daughter to watch like animal and baby. So we get video with her interest. During our car journey or at home when we are not free to tell her story, we just play some audio book to keep her busy and learn at the same time.

Video game is another way to get them interest in their work.

My kids enjoy parent accompany will learning, so if that applied to your kids, you will need to spend time with time, else they will just lost interest after sometimes trying alone.

I believe that the best method is to get them interested by themselves.  The rest will be an easier task.

Do you know what your kids like ? What is the best method that he absorb his knowledge ? If not, you got to find that out then :)

    Hope for your very best

  2. Operant conditioning.

Read "The Prince" by Niccolò Machiavelli. It's a handbook for dealing with belligerent children. :)

  3. First, make sure he has had enough opportunity for gross motor movement. Six year olds need much more opportunity to move, run, jump, hop, and play than the people currently in charge of education think. And this needs to be outside where he can run and holler.

Next, make the learning meaningful for him. Relate it to something that he knows and is interested in. Go throughout the environment practicing all the skills. If reading, than read fast food menus, find letters on street signs, read books about his interests. If math, than have him count out apples in the grocery store for your cart, the number of seconds you can hold your breath, etc.

And keep a sense of humor.

  4. try colourful pictures and stuff that stand out to him what sortof things does he like no 1 likes education but its something we all have to do.

    Good Luck

  5. Its good to integrate things they interests them. When I was teaching a 5-6 year old reading and spelling I got a note book and assigned each page to a different letter of the alphabet. I cut out pictures of things recognisable and fun for them and glued it to the appropriate page eg: Elmo on "E" this way they can associate letters and the sounds they make.
