Cecchetti is so traditional and structured, what's the best way to make it artistic and dramatic like Balanchine without changing the choreography?

  1. Add a little russian technique?  the hand and arm movements are a little more fluid and graceful, but the actual moves are very similar.  I've taken both styles, and while I haven't taken syllabus cecchetti in ages, that's what I know.  I don't know what you need this for, but if changing the choreography will get you into trouble in an exam, don't do it.

The people on Dance.net might be a little more responsive, since the majority of people answering questions here seem to be more of the beginner/unexperienced level.
