  1. from the previous entry i can see that you are very mechanically inclined, since you can probably do all the work yourself replace the internals and supercharge it!

  2. For your application, maybe a high lift cam, upgrade the valve springs, aluminum high rise intake manifold, holley carburetor, upgrade the ignition, headers, dual exhaust, low restriction mufflers, blower, etc.

It all depends on how much money you want to spend.

  3. 1-Add a camshaft/ and lifters 2-A carb 3-sparkplugs/wires/and cap, rotor and coil these are just some of the things you can do.

  4. If you want to keep it stock, blue print the engine.

If you want to have a lot of fun and up-date the engine check into ways to fuel-inject it and put a modern ECM in it that can be programed for performance. Maybe Summit Racing has a kit for this (using a "Mega Squirt System").

Of course there is always the old school approach of cams and carbs.

Super charging would require the body to be modified, which is something I don't want to think about.

You could always swap in a modern vette engine and transmission and keep the body stock.

A word of warning- these years of cars will float at speed and become a handful. I hope it does not get a customized by Crash.

  5. Exhaust,and more air.Also helps mileage.
